During 50 years of experience, World Champion bird taxidermist and wildlife designer Frank Newmyer leads the way as a student of the live bird. By introducing a new vision within the industry, he combines a lifelong drive towards realism together with art, to emphasize a compelling visual impact. He uses a very simple formula- he knows how to bring things to life. As the "Father of Habitat", we've been seeing his strong innovations for encased dioramas and sculptural bases repeated by his peers for several decades. Newmyer's passion and focus in wildlife quickly drew attention from all over the world, becoming the subject of television and book documentary, magazine and newspaper articles alike.

Regarded as a showman of concept, he is “the winningest man in taxidermy” and his work has been selected by top carvers, painters and photographers since the 1970's and his students have won on every competition level. He is also an author of instructional books and videos on the subject, besides producing wildlife sculptures in metal and bronze, even producing a life-sized golfer statue for the PGA Hall of Fame. He was named ‘Sculptor of the Year’ by Golf Expo in 1990. His love of nature has extended to spending considerable attention towards the environment with organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International, Pheasants Forever, etc. He has become a Ten-Time World Champion in 2007, with work included in museums and private collections.
